Tokyo Tapioca Land may not sound as grand as Tokyo Disneyland, but the new pop-up attraction in the Japanese capital has fatigued its fair share of fans – specifically those who love bubble tea.

Located in the metropolis's colourful fashion district right in front of Harajuku train station, in a shopping area called "jing", Tapioca Land is a bubble tea lover'due south idea of boba sky. The pop-up opened on Aug thirteen and will be available until Sep 16.

The infinite is filled with Instagram-worthy photo booths to capture the perfect motion-picture show to tell the earth that you're having a bubble-tastic fourth dimension. For just ¥1200 (S$15.seventy) per person, which includes a welcome drink, you can indulge in your love of the sweet treat and take cute photos to your heart's content. One thou pre-sale tickets at ¥1000 each were sold out when the event was first announced in July.

For those twenty years and older, there's also an adults-only Tapioca Country Nights on Fri evenings that will serve milk tea-based cocktails.

Tapioca State is organised by the Tokyo Photogenic Squad, which also gave us Tokyo Ice Cream Land in 2022 and Tokyo Donut Land in 2018.

Reactions to Tapioca State accept been mixed, though, with some visitors unhappy over the steep ticket toll, no re-entry and lack of restrooms. However, if you'd like to spend a few hours surrounded by all things milk tea, you might discover the whole affair kawaii.
